1. About Haysky Academy

Haysky Academy is an educational app and website that provides study materials covering several programming languages and general computer-related topics, public batch files, and an account area where users can log in and manage their profile.

2. Login (Optional)

You can read the study materials and browse batch files without logging in. Login is only needed for the account area. You can log in with your Google account, or with your email address or phone number and a password. If you log in with Google and no account exists for your Google email yet, we create one for you.

Login is handled by our own servers. We never see or store your Google password. Passwords you set with us are stored only in hashed (one-way encrypted) form, never as plain text.

3. Information We Collect

If you log in, we collect and store the following:

• Account and profile information: your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, gender, and account status. When you use Google login we receive your name and verified email address from Google. You can view and edit your profile details in the app.
• Login session information: your device and browser type, IP address, and the time of your last activity, kept so that your login can be maintained and secured.

If you do not log in, we do not collect any personal information. We do not use advertising, behavioral profiling, or third-party analytics trackers.

4. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used only to:

• identify you and let you log in to your account;
• show and let you update your profile;
• protect accounts from misuse (for example, limiting repeated failed login attempts);
• contact you about your course or account, if needed.

5. Storage and Security

Your data is stored in our own database on our servers. Access to your data requires you to be logged in, and data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Passwords are hashed, and login sessions use secure, HttpOnly cookies. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

6. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with anyone. It is visible only to you and to the institute administrators who manage user accounts. If we use a hosting provider to run our servers, it processes data only on our behalf to provide that service.

7. Google Sign-In

If you choose to log in with Google, Google provides us with a sign-in token containing your name and verified email address. Google's own privacy policy applies to your use of Google services. We use this information only to log you in.

8. Cookies and Local Storage

We use a secure cookie to keep you logged in. If you tick "Stay logged in", it remains after you close the browser; otherwise it is removed when the browser closes. It is used only for authentication and is deleted when you log out.

9. Permissions

The app needs network access to load content and to log you in. It does not use these permissions to collect anything beyond what is described in this policy.

10. Your Choices and Data Deletion

You can view and update your profile information in the app and log out at any time. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account and data, contact us at the email address below and we will process your request.

11. Children's Privacy

The study materials are suitable for learners of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without a parent or guardian's involvement. If you believe a child has provided information that should be removed, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last Updated" date.
